Knights Go A-Picnicing 2010

Moir Park in Bloomington was the setting for the Sunday

July 25 edition of the KC Family Picnic. Mass was the first order of business, said by Father Bernie. After Mass the grills were lit and the smell of hamburgers, brats and hot dogs said this was an American summer.

After the meal, games for the kids: fish pond for the tykes, shoe toss, softball throw, sack races and then the waterballoon toss, where most everyone got wet.  The weather was perfect, and the prizes were quickly accepted by the winners, no matter their age.

 We had a great time.  You should have come.
