If you haven't heard, the Marian Hall will have an elevator this fall!
A steering committee (pictured above) has been working with a local architect to plan, design and build an elevator for Marian Hall. The $95,000 initiative is proceeding with tremendous speed and energy. It's about time. The elevator will serve all levels of the building. Indeed, soon there will be no excuses for missing a Respect Life program or Bar Bingo! Accessibility also helps market our banquet/event offerings. Gifts and pledges of over $22,000 have already poured in, including several 'in memory of...' and anonymous donors. Formal fundraising begins in June with a request of all members. Donations should be made to Marian Council, with "Elevator" in the memo line. Larger gifts will be recognized on a plaque (though requests for anonymity will be respected). Watch for further updates on this exciting project, and make your contribution today! |
